Rent a Bus To Visit Flint Neighborhoods
Charter Bus Rental Company Flint can connect you to the right type of bus rental to easily traverse neighborhoods across Flint, Michigan. Whether you need a quick shuttle for a day trip, to corporate events, or even an airport transfer shuttle, we’re here to help.

Carriage Town
With its ornate, Victorian style homes and rich local history, the Carriage Town Historic District is a popular stop for sightseeing tours of Flint. From its establishment in the 1850s to the early 20th century, Carriage Town was a primary neighborhood for workers of the local lumber industry. It became one of Michigan’s first historic districts when it was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. Visitors today can explore the restored architecture from the era as they take a walking tour of the many Victorian-style mansions, cottages, and churches.

College Cultural
This bustling neighborhood, also sometimes called Civic Park, is one of the most popular spots to visit for newcomers exploring Flint. The College Cultural Neighborhood gets its name from the intersection of Kearsley Street and Crapo Street, where seven of Flint’s major cultural and educational centers are within walking distance of one another. Many of these institutions are located on the Flint Cultural Center Campus: The Whiting, Flint Institute of Music, Flint Repertory Theatre, Sloan Museum, Longway Planetarium, and the Flint Institute of Arts. Along the edges of this campus, you’ll also find educational institutions like Flint’s branch of Mott Community College and the historic Applewood Estate.

Cultural Center
As you may have noticed by now, the Cultural Center is one of the most recognizable parts of Flint—in no small part because of the Flint Cultural Center Campus, the major attraction here. It’s easy for groups visiting by bus to drop off everyone near the campus or explore the surrounding area—just be mindful of the neighborhood’s unique road system! The Flint Cultural Center Campus encompasses several blocks around Kearsley and Crapo Streets, but Kearsley turns into two one-way roads around the Mott Community College campus. Groups planning an itinerary in the neighborhood should keep an eye out for these minor traffic patterns before hitting the road.

Mott Park
This neighborhood is an urban park in and of itself. Mott Park was among the country’s first planned communities when it was established and developed in 1917, specifically to create affordable, community-centric housing and commercial districts for local auto workers. It now houses a 7.6-acre park of the same name, as well as other recreation attractions such as Mott Park Golf Course, Whaley Historic House Museum, and Oakwood Cemetery, one of the largest cemeteries in the state.
